It examines the often unseen jobs performed by women, such as tailors and chambermaids and viewed from the side lines in their otherwise invisible worlds. The exhibition was presented at MAC in 2021.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 52-page, colour illustrated exhibition catalogue includes a foreword by Deborah Kermode, MAC CEO \u0026amp; Artistic Director, with academic essays written by Tracey Warren, Professor of Sociology at the University of Nottingham, and Griselda Pollock, Professor of Social and Critical Histories of Art at the University of Leeds. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMAC worked with journalist Maria Margaronis to produce a series of personal interviews with some of the women featured in Caroline Walker's paintings.
