I like to use architecture or type to give a feeling for a place, whilst being creative with patterns and shapes. I came up with the type style when playing about with the letters and it seemed to fit nicely. Maybe it looks like the lines on a road or motorway. It’s also influenced by the logo of the 1968 Mexico Summer Olympics, designed by Lance Wyman, one of my design heroes, so it has a retro feel to it.
