Hardeep Pandhal - Inheritance Quest

Hardeep Pandhal works across drawing, video, installation, and animation to explore migration, historical violence, and cultural assimilation. His practice weaves together Sikh heritage, popular culture, and the immigrant experience in modern Britain—blending Tolkienesque fantasy with video game references, empire narratives with lived memory.

This monograph examines how Pandhal riffs on race, place, and identity, featuring texts by Zahid R Chaudhury, Gabrielle de la Puente, Hammad Nasar and Jamie Sutcliffe, plus a conversation with artist David Steans.
